Welcome to Chickasaw County, come visit us!

Chickasaw County Tourism works to promote tourism. There is a lot to offer for travelers to see. And our group wants to promote it. Some of our regular activities are a Fam Tour, which is a one-day bus tour of the highlights of the county. Attractions are visited and lunch provided for a small fee. We attend fairs and parades to promote interest in our group. We have speakers to help us learn of tourism trends and attend regional and state conferences. Welcome to our county, please come visit.

RURAL ---We are a county of farms, fields and animals. Top notch dairies, exotic animal ranches, from Emu to Buffalo. Miles of corn and bean fields and gravel roads.

RUSTIC ---We have a great love for our old barns, windmills, silos and old historic buildings. We want to preserve them for future generations to see. Sometimes we move slowly down the road, behind a tractor.

REAL ---people making a living on the farm or in the towns. Genuine friendliness and a helpful spirit prevails. People who like fairs, parades and family events, and like to work hard helping their neighbor.
